Oil Change Inspections Performed by a Certified Experienced Technician is the Best Hedge Against a Breakdown or Additional Damage

The main advantage of performing your oil change at a trusted ASE full service repair facility, versus a quick lube, is that while changing the oil and filter, the certified experienced technician is also inspecting system components for wear.

Importance of Common Maintenance

Two of the most common preventative services for your vehicle are an oil change and tire rotation. Most engines will last a very long time unless damage occurs due to lack of lubrication or from overheating. Tires will last significantly longer if they are rotated rather than left in the same position.

Maintenance vs. Lack of Maintenance

If oil changes aren’t performed, oil can turn to sludge and damage an engine,
A tire rotation will also reveal the condition of the brakes,
A clogged fuel filter can cause a fuel pump to overwork and fail prematurely,
A small coolant leak can get larger and cause an engine to overheat,
A cracked CV boot can tear open and necessitate an axle replacement,
Transmission fluid which is too old or has been overheated could lead to transmission problems.
