Automotive ASE Training

ASETraining is an ongoing process at Addison Auto Center. Mechanical and body shop technicians are required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of technical training per year.  To keep up with today’s complicated systems and changing technology most technicians far exceed this training minimum.  Addison Auto Center pays for the cost of the training as well as wages during business hours.

Mechanical technicians take two Automotive Service Association’s (ASE) certification tests each spring and fall until they reach Master Technician Status which certifies that they have been trained in all automotive systems. ASE’s mission is to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification.
