Testimonials
Our oldest daughter’s first grade teacher set aside a time each week called happy hour. Classmates wrote down and read aloud what they liked best about the student during happy hour. As our family grew we kept the tradition alive over special meals or events. What better place to transfer this tradition than to our workplace family.
Betty has been with us coming up on ten years. She wins two awards, Ms. Congeniality and Ms. Hospitality. Everyone that calls or walks through our door is given a heartfelt greeting by Betty. Betty knows more about Addison’s than anyone. Both customer and staff rely on Betty.
Ken has been with us since we opened our new shop in ’99. Ken can figure out or fix anything! He’s one of those people who stick with something until the problem is solved. No wonder, Ken invests in his craft through continuous training. The strengths Ken brings to our repair team are invaluable. Ken is also a great family man, who with his wife Heather, team up to raise two great kids; Avery and Anna Bell.
Chris is a mellow fellow quietly taking pride in his work and doing the best job possible. He’s thorough and if something comes up that needs extra attention he’s right there chasing the culprit. Chris has a meticulous repair style. Maybe it has something to do with the way he makes pool cues www.cbcues.com in his spare time....if you’re a pool enthusiast check out his art work.
Erich is a neat nick. His work area is well organized as are his work habits. It’s easy to have confidence in Erich’s work when you see how careful he is. Erich and his wife love to camp (the RV way of course) and a number of us are planning to pull our rigs together wagon train style this summer in the gorgeous mountains of Colorado.
We have been extremely fortunate to have Sam as an apprentice. Sam has apprenticed with us since the beginning of his schooling through the Arapahoe County Community College automotive program. Sam is careful, focused, hardworking, thoughtful, serious, mature, talented, quick to learn, trustworthy, and an overall nice guy. This spring Sam will graduate from the automotive program and no doubt with the highest of honors.
Mike is knowledgeable of all automotive systems and interacts with car and concern. Mike helps to prioritize repairs to fit household budgets. Mike loves his family and the Colorado back country. Mike and his family recently moved to a beautiful area outside of Denver where he and his family enjoy peace and quiet.
There’s much to be done behind the scenes to repair your vehicle. Accurate knowledge of parts ordering ensures your repair keeps moving toward on time completion and Pat is on it! Pat also works side by side with Gideon and customers appreciate his soft spoken and attentive manner. One of the things the women in our company like about Pat is how he admires and wife Betty. He says she is the best thing about him...ahhhhhh.
Ivonne is the newest member of our staff. After first talking with Ivonne you know immediately that she KNOWS the body shop business, giving you confidence that you’re receiving complete and accurate information. Ivonne has garnered respect from her co-workers not only for her knowledge of the business but also for her kindheartedness. Ivonne told me her what’s most important to her is customer service and she exhibits her commitment to helping customers through the repair process with the care and concern.
David our Production Manager is fun! He calls the morning body shop release meetings to order with some sort of theme…silly but it helps put some fun into an otherwise mundane daily meeting. As you can tell we appreciate David for his humorous side but also for his serious side. David’s attention to detail and quality is resolute. David sees to it that your vehicle goes through the repair process and is delivered back to you with the highest standards.
Jose has a sixth sense about what we need around the shop. Before you can ask him to do something he’s either done it or on it. What a great job he does on detailing. After we do repairs we call our customers to make sure their repair was to their satisfaction and more often than not they comment about how clean their car was when they picked it up. Jose’s extremely funny and keeps us laughing. If he gives you a free shuttle to your home or work you’ll experience his lightheartedness first hand.
Jeff is quality conscious about every repair. He takes extra time throughout the repair process to get it just right. Recently Jeff had a Mercedes on the frame rack that he spent an hour on the phone with tech support painstakingly working to make the pull as exact as possible. Jeff is a lifelong learner. Pickiness is a great quality to have as a body tech and we’re glad Mr. Picky works here.
When Rogelio disassembles a vehicle, he's like a surgeon with a scalpel, except without the blood unless it’s his own. Quick-as-a-wink the vehicle is apart with the inner sheet metal parts removed and the adjoining pieces neatly prepared to weld in the new parts. The end result is a repair that looks like it was never repaired "except no stitches and no scars".
George is a talented body tech as well as a great gardener. George is meticulous and takes pride in his work. There are vehicles that we work on that you might call junky. You know the ones with four other dents but are in for a bumper repair only. George hates being associated with rolling out substandard looking vehicles. George loves telling a story about his daughter and mowing their lawn that gets sweeter each time you hear him tell it to someone new.
Gary has been doing body work since Moby Dick was a minor. Looking into Gary’s tool box you see an array of homemade tools that he’s invented over the years in order to do his job more efficiently. It’s beautiful to watch Gary work. His movements are purposeful and precise in working out all the blemishes and bringing back the metal to pre-accident condition. Gary and Joan’s family Christmas picture this year had to be taken with a wide angle lens there are so many of them now.
Kriston is Gary's apprentice. Gary is from Minnesota. When you talk with Gary you can depend on plain talk so when we asked Gary recently how things are going with Kriston Gary replied, "He's a "good hand." In Gary lingo there's no higher compliment than being a "good hand". Kriston's strengths are, he's not afraid to tackle a repair or to ask a question when he's unsure of how to perform a repair. We're excited to have Kriston as our apprentice under Gary's tutelage and because of Kriston's hard work, he's developing into a skillful technician. Kriston likes to bike and hike.
Achieving color match isn’t easy but Mario has an eye for seeing the paint job before it’s done. Mario’s high standards, training and experience work together to lay down a well blended paint match. Many customers are most concerned about color matching but we rarely have a customer take issue with Mario’s paint work. Sadly we have a number of customers who are so satisfied with their paint job they ask us to paint other types of vehicles like motorcycles that we aren’t equipped to handle.
David, though less experienced behind the gun, is well on his way to becoming a fine painter. David recently received his painter certification. The certification was held at the DuPont Training Center in Plymouth, Michigan and David had to fly for the very first time ever! Last month David and his wife had their second child (nine years a part) needless to say David had forgotten the sleepless night’s part of a new born. Congrats Anderson family!
Alysha’s gene pool wouldn’t allow her to stray too far away from the shop since she’s a family member. She has done almost everything around here at one time or another; parts, reception, payroll, bookkeeping, collision shop file handling, estimator assistant and now collision estimator. She does a great job of communicating with her customers throughout the repair process.
Giancarlo has more I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference On Auto Collision Repair) training points than any other staffer. He loves to train and learn new aspects or update his knowledge of auto body repair. When you work with Giancarlo his professionalism is evident and his customers are well taken care throughout the repair process. Giancarlo is also a great help to our customers who speak Spanish.
You name it…over the last 28 years they both have done it all. Steering a boat this large takes a lot of people and Jim and Brenda’s most sincere desire is to help the ship sail smoothly. Jim’s ability to fill in for positions when folks aren’t at their station is invaluable for our customers. Brenda’s largest duties revolve around customer satisfaction and marketing of the business. Their zest for the business continues.
