Community Involvment

Over the 29 years we have been in business we have always viewed ourselves as part of the community. It would have been difficult not to! Not only was our business located here, be we also raised our family less than a mile away. We have long supported many of these organizations and continually support: Good Neighbor Garage, Montessori school of Denver, Denver Rescue Mission, Growing Home, Parent Pathways, and Joshua Station. We also dedicate a monthly line item if other needs arise from local schools, non-profits, churches, missionaries, or other organizations.

Because 82% of child seat installations have problems that make the seat not work effectively Addison Auto Repair & Body Shop have certified technicians available to fit your child's car seat.  Free inspections are done by appointment Monday through Friday 9am to 4:30pm.  the Denver Metro Safe Kids reminds us "Saving Kids Lives One Safety Seat At A Time". 

Outside of human service organizations, we support industry causes to improve training in the field, consumer choice, safety for young drivers, and information dissemination to the general public. We support I-CAR Education Foundation whose mission is to “attract entry level candidates and assist in preparing them for careers in the collision industry” (www.ed-foundation.org).

Jim Addison testified in support of the Anti-Steering House Bill (HB) which allows consumers to freely choose which auto shop they would like to have their repairs done at. This legislation gives the customer control rather than being forced by insurance companies to go to a shop they may not like. Another piece of legislation Jim worked on was a HB requiring titles to clearly state that the vehicle had been rebuilt after being declared a total loss. Prior to this bill people were unknowingly sold cars that had been totaled and rebuilt.
